THANK YOU!

Dearest family and friends-

Upon completing the 100-mile Liberty to Liberty challenge on May 27, Team Teacher raised almost $3000 in donations and fundraising. Much of that was through online donations and our fundraising event at The Bitter End in NYC (we raised $500 that night!). We were able to go well beyond our goals for our Right To Play campaign, and none of it could have been done without all of your help (both large and small contributions). For this reason, we want to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your support and help over the last few months. Additionally, Adidas recently launched a new RTP campaigned last week (get your red RTP soccer balls at a local Adidas store!). For more information regarding this campaign and anything else related to RTP, visit their website: www.righttoplay.com and the U.S. site link for info on Team Teacher.

As for our race, complete results are not yet posted (due to timing errors), but we suspect we finished among the top 5 teams overall and may have been the only all-female relay team. Whatever the case, we finished with spectacular performances from all three members: Catherine places 3rd in the mile swim; Alex was riding with the top 15 in the 91-mile bike, but got lost half way through and dropped back to 70th (riding a total of 100 miles); and Robyn picked up 20 places in her 10k run (even after having spent all day in the car cheering and napping!). For results, keep checking the website: www.envirosports.com

So, what's next? Well, we plan on competing in the Health Net Mossman Triathlon this Saturday (June 9) in Milford, CT. Visit the race website for results following the race: www.trifitness.net

On behalf of Team Teacher, we thank all of you. Without support from friends and family, we could not have done any of this. Have a wonderful summer and take care of yourselves. Remember: Everyone has the right to play. "Look after yourself; look after one another."
